Corner to Corner’s support of entrepreneurs and students in Nashville

Our three areas of focus are Education, Economic Development, and Spiritual Growth.

Host Jeremy C. Park talks with Shana Berkeley, Executive Director of Corner to Corner, which is a Nashville, Tennessee-based nonprofit with a mission to extend the hope of Christ through gospel word and loving deed. The organization focuses on fostering education, economic development and spiritual growth. During the interview, Shana shares her personal story of being a graduate of Corner to Corner’s entrepreneurship program, The Academy, then talks about their various other programs, including Script to Screen, which uses kids’ love of movies to help them fall in love with reading and writing as they develop their own script, and produce their own short film. She discusses how they are equipping neighbors with the tools to plan, start and grow their own small businesses, and expanding access and support to increase the number of Black Businesses in Nashville. She also shares some tips for entrepreneurs and how the community can get involved and support their efforts, including their Script to Screen Red Carpet Premiere on May 12 and The Academy Graduation and free block party at Rocketown on May 17, 2022.
