Job Summary: The Program Service Coordinator works directly under the supervision of the Executive Director. The primary role is to ensure that all services rendered and billing submitted to DIDD are documented accurately, correctly, and timely.

Essential Job Functions:
Review daily documentation for each individual in the program and provide feedback
Follow up on issues noted with documentation and provide report
Ensure follow up on issues with documentation is completed
Ensure DIDD requirements regarding approved Level of needs, approved services, staffing requirements, billing requirements, etc are met
Knowledge of ISP’s, Service plan submissions and approvals
Ability to read and comprehend Service plans, Cost plans, Billing reports
Responsible for ensuring that service request documents are completed, accurate, and submitted to the appropriate person timely
Responsible for ensuring that ISP’s and approved Service plans are received timely; distributed to the appropriate parties
Responsible for appealing any necessary denials, compiling and submitting the appropriate documents timely
Responsible for auditing the Cost plans to ensure accuracy of services approved
Responsible for entering approved services in DDM system
Responsible for entering each individual’s outcomes, daily activities into documentation system to ensure proper documentation/billing
Responsible for entering billable services in billing system
Responsible for any necessary changes that need to be made to services for each individual and/or changes made within the billing system
Work closely with others from outsourcing agency in regards to billing system & services provided through them
Responsible for running regular reports, auditing services rendered, payments received
Responsible for compiling necessary reports to present to management team
Responsible for working closely with the management team to ensure that all services are being provided and adequately billed for
Responsible for adhering to the DIDD Provider Manual, Provider Agreement, Licensure, any other guidelines, processes with other entities as it relates to compliance
Responsible for meeting all deadlines with no disruption or interruption of services or billing
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, Social Work, Psychology, or related field. Must have prior experience in the DIDD field with service coordination. Must be familiar with DIDD requirements for Level of needs, staffing, etc as it relates to approved services and service delivery. Need to be very familiar with ISP’s, Cost Plans, Service Plans, Service plan submission and approval process, billing of services. Must be able to audit daily documentation and provide concise feedback. Must have ability to follow up daily on outstanding tasks and meet very stringent deadlines.

Must be able to be self-sufficient, able to keep self-disciplined; work independently
Must be very organized
Must be ethical, trustworthy, able to adhere to stringent compliance regulations
Must have good computer skills; able to sit at computer for long periods of time
Must be able to present reports on audit findings
Must have good communication skills, able to meet with others to review findings
Must be detail and task oriented
Must be concise, able to review work, identify errors & correct them quickly
Must be able to work closely with others in regards to service delivery for our individuals
Must be able to pass required trainings and remain current on all trainings
Must be able to attend meetings as assigned
Must be available by phone and return calls, emails promptly
Must be able to work after hours as needed
