Watch an important virtual panel discussion, “A BIG Return on Principal Investments,” which focuses on how collaboration is helping unlock the power of leadership to transform schools in Memphis and across the country.
This event follows the release of a new report from the Wallace Foundation, titled “How Principals Affect Students and Schools.” The researchers conclude: “It is difficult to envision an investment with a higher ceiling on its potential return than a successful effort to improve principal leadership.”
“Now, more than ever is the time that we must reimagine what education and our schools look like in order to make sure that all of our students are seen, heard and deeply known.”~@PrincipalMossJr @cityCURRENT @NewLeadersOrg

The event will begin with a presentation by one of the study’s co-authors, Dr. Jason Grissom of Vanderbilt University, who will share an overview of the research and its conclusions about the impact of principals and why they are so critical for student outcomes.
Then, Jeremy C. Park, CEO of cityCURRENT, moderates a virtual panel discussion focused on spotlighting some of the collaborations, lessons learned and key takeaways for unlocking the power of leadership to transform schools in Memphis and across our nation. The event is geared toward business, education and community leaders who want to learn more about how success is being created in our schools and how we can all work together to build more success.
