Alzheimer’s Association, TN Chapter: Walk to End Alzheimer’s Nashville

Host Jeremy C. Park talks with Amy LaGrant, Chair, along with Ashley Briggs, Co-Chair, and Tonya Brown, Mission Chair, with the Walk to End Alzheimer’s Nashville and the Alzheimer’s Association, TN Chapter. Dementia is a general term for a decline in mental ability severe enough to interfere with daily life. Alzheimer’s is the most common cause of dementia. Alzheimer’s is a specific disease. Dementia is not.

Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease.

We’re moving forward with plans to host Walk to End Alzheimer’s® in person this fall. The health and safety of our participants, staff and volunteers remain our top priorities as we make decisions about event details in your community, and we’ll continue to offer options to participate online and in your neighborhood.
