The theme of The SPARK September 2020 is “Women Leading for Social Change.”
Jeremy C. Park will interview Romona Jackson of The Women’s Advocacy Center, an organization serving as a resource for women who have experienced domestic abuse in East Shelby County; Daphene R. McFerren of the The Benjamin L. Hooks Institute for Social Change, an institute taking a leadership role in providing awareness, education and advocacy for social justice changes for the betterment of the Memphis area; and Cece Palazola of Concord Academy Memphis, a private, state-approved school for students with learning and social disabilities in grades 6-12.
