Katie Claiborne, Development Specialist, Bike MS with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and Andrew Forsdick, National MS Society Mid-South Chapter Board Chair and Team Captain for Bike MS, discuss the history and mission of the National MS Society, programs and progress, pivots with COVID-19, the longstanding history of the Rockin’ Ride event and this year’s Virtual Bike MS: Inside Out, where everyone can participate and be a part of the effort.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body.
National Multiple Sclerosis Society is more than an organization. A gathering place for people with MS, their family and loved ones, healthcare providers, volunteers, donors, fundraisers, advocates, community leaders and all those that seek a world free of MS. A place to connect and take action.

Bike MS – While we can’t safely gather for the events we know and love, we are thrilled to bring cyclists together on September 26 and October 17 for Bike MS: Inside Out. Bike MS: Inside Out is the first-ever nationwide Bike MS event that lets you build your own adventure. It’s a brand new, top-of-the-line cycling experience that everyone can be a part of no matter where you are or how you ride.
If your Bike MS event was between July 12 and October 31, we’ve moved your ride info. For July 12 through September 30 events, please see the Bike MS: Inside Out – September website. For October rides, please see Bike MS: Inside Out – October.
